anzuk Education is partnering with a highly regarded early learning service in the Sutherland Shire, seeking a passionate Room Leader to join its established team in the new year.

With above-ratio staffing, dedicated programming time and a stable team, you'll have the opportunity to focus on building meaningful relationships with children and delivering engaging learning experiences.

About the role
As Room Leader, you'll take responsibility for creating a welcoming, engaging and supportive learning environment where children can thrive.
You'll work closely with a collaborative team of educators and a supportive leadership team to deliver high-quality educational programmes aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
Your responsibilities will include:




Leading and mentoring educators within your room
Planning and implementing engaging, child-led learning experiences
Building positive relationships with children and families
Supporting high standards of education, care and compliance
Contributing to a positive and collaborative team culture
About you
We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children, takes pride in their educational practice and values being part of a supportive team.
Ideally, you'll have:
An ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or Early Childhood Teaching qualification
Current NESA accreditation if ECT-qualified
A strong understanding of the EYLF and National Quality Framework
Previous Room Leader experience, highly regarded
Confidence supporting and mentoring other educators
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Australian citizenship or permanent residency
