Prerequisites
2-4 years of relevant experience in the field
Trained in Relevant ALC restaurant - French or Italian food preferred.
Sponsorship available to the right candidate if required.
About the Role

We are an industry leading hospitality precinct located in Chippendale NSW, at the edge of Sydney CBD. We have multiple restaurants that are growing and we are looking for motivated CDPs/Sous to bring on board and support our expanding operations.
We are looking for an engaging and passionate CDP/Sous Chef to join our Kitchen teams. A successful candidate will report directly to the Executive Chef and be heavily involved in the day to day operations of the restaurant to ensure continued growth and consistent over the daily operations of the venue.



This is an excellent chance for a chef looking to build their skills and rise up the ranks rapidly.
Key Tasks
Run multiple sections
Run kitchen pass during the service
Portions and wastage control
Knowledge of Ordering System and Receiving
Knowledge of Stocktaking
Day to Day Responsibilities
Ensure consistent and smooth running of smooth production
Ensure effective stock purchases, receipts and storage
Ensure that working areas are always kept clean
Mentor and support other kitchen staff as need arises
Supervise performance of kitchen staff to ensure proper activity
Perform general administrative tasks and communicate to superiors
Ensure that required standards are adhered to in the production and preparation of food – in quality, quantity, and safety
Work towards exceeding customer's expectation by encouraging and promoting high level of service
