The HeartScreenSalary: $130,000 + superannuationFull-timeSenior Accountant - CPAThe HeartScreen is a growing Australian cardiac diagnostic and preventative healthcare organisation focused on improving access to cardiac screening and early detection.As we continue to expand our operations nationally, we are seeking an experienced and commercially minded CPA-qualified Senior Accountant to join our team and take responsibility for the financial management, reporting and accounting functions of the organisation.About the RoleWorking closely with the CEO, COO and senior leadership team, you will play an important role in ensuring solid financial governance and providing accurate financial information to support strategic and operational decision-making.This is a hands-on position suited to an experienced accountant who is comfortable managing day-to-day financial operations while also contributing at a broader commercial and strategic level.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and oversee monthly management accounts and financial reportingManage budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow reportingProvide financial analysis and commercial insights to the executive teamOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functionsManage payroll-related financial processes and reconciliationsPrepare and review BAS, GST and other statutory reporting requirementsMaintain appropriate financial controls, policies and proceduresSupport annual financial statements, audit and year-end processesMonitor expenditure,



budgets and financial performance across the organisationAssist with financial modelling and analysis relating to business growth and expansionLiaise with external accountants, auditors, banks and other professional advisers as requiredSupport the CEO and COO with financial information required for strategic planning and external stakeholder discussionsIdentify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting and processes as the organisation continues to scaleAbout YouCPA qualification (essential)Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related disciplineStrong experience in financial and management accountingExcellent knowledge of Australian accounting, taxation and regulatory requirementsExperience preparing budgets, forecasts, management reports and financial analysisStrong attention to detail and a high level of financial integrityConfidence communicating financial information to senior executives and non-finance stakeholdersStrong Excel and financial systems capabilityThe ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the finance functionExperience within healthcare, medical services or a growing multi-site organisation would be highly regardedWhy Join The HeartScreen?
