Key responsibilitiesManaging the day-to-day operation of Kummara's finance function and supporting the finance teamPreparing timely and accurate monthly financial and management reportsManaging and developing organisational budgeting, forecasting and cashflow processesMonitoring financial performance across programs, funding streams and cost centres, including analysis of material budget variancesProviding managers with meaningful financial information to support planning, resource allocation and operational decision-makingMaintaining effective financial controls, policies, procedures and delegationsMonitoring compliance with funding agreements, contractual obligations and relevant statutory requirementsCoordinating financial reporting, grant acquittals and other funding-related reporting requirementsCoordinating the annual financial audit process and the provision of financial information to external auditorsSupporting preparation of financial information and reporting for the CEOAbout youTertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related disciplineCPA or CA qualification, or substantial progression towards qualified accreditationDemonstrated experience in a senior financial management, financial controller or similar roleStrong experience in budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management and management reportingDemonstrated experience managing financial reporting across multiple programs, cost centres and funding streamsSound knowledge of financial governance, internal controls, audit processes, statutory compliance and financial risk managementExperience with government funding, grants,
