They enjoy documentation, solving problems and working out how a building actually goes together.That's the type of person I'm looking for here.I've recruited for this Sydney studio for some time, and they're looking for an Architectural Technician who can come into a busy project environment and contribute without needing constant supervision.You don't necessarily need the traditional architectural university pathway.
What matters much more is your Revit ability,



local project experience and understanding of Australian construction and documentation.What will be doingProduce detailed Revit documentation across large-scale projectsWork predominantly across Class 2 multi-residential and mixed-useDevelop and coordinate drawing packagesResolve technical and documentation issuesCoordinate with consultants and project teamsWork autonomously alongside experienced Project LeadsWhat you'll getLarge-scale projects with plenty of technical complexityHands-on involvement in documentation and deliveryExperienced Architects and Project Leads around youA solid pipeline of current and upcoming workCBD studio within easy walking distance of Central StationWhat they're looking forStrong to advanced Revit skillsSeveral years of Australian architectural experienceGood knowledge of Australian construction, codes and regulationsLarge-scale project experience, ideally Class 2 multi-residentialStrong documentation and detailing skillsComfortable working autonomously with minimal supervisionArchitectural degree, TAFE or similar drafting qualification consideredFull, unrestricted Australian working rights (no sponsorship available) and currently residing in AustraliaRole standoutsWhat I like about this role is that they're not getting hung up on titles or exactly how you entered the industry.If you're technically strong, know Revit properly and have enough local experience to understand how projects are documented and delivered in Australia, I'd rather have the conversation.
