Ventia is seeking a qualified Electrician to join our Workover operations in a roaming position supporting multiple rigs.Rather than being allocated to one rig, you'll work across our Workover fleet as operational requirements change, giving you exposure to different rigs, crews and equipment while developing specialised skills.
You'll also benefit from an even-time roster that supports genuine work-life balance.About the RoleAs a Field Electrician supporting our Workover operations, you will play a key role in maintaining safe and reliable electrical operations across our rigs.
Your work will include:Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on electrical systemsAssisting with breakdowns and supporting critical repairsTroubleshooting and fault-finding on rig electrical equipmentTravelling between Workover rigs to provide electrical support as requiredWorking closely with supervisors, rig crews and maintenance teamsEnsuring compliance with safety and maintenance proceduresContributing to a high-performing team environmentWhat We OfferEven-Time Roster: 15 days on / 13 days offCompetitive Day Rate: Attractive and consistent earningsFull On-Site Support: Accommodation, meals and uniforms providedLong-Term Contract Stability: With ongoing career developmentPaid Training: All training time compensated at an hourly ratePoint of Hire: ToowoombaVariety:
