Alongside job advertising, they support education and upskilling pathways and workforce transition services.The roleBased in Melbourne, you'll look after day-to-day accounting and reporting, working closely with the leadership team as the business grows.
It's a broad, hands-on role with plenty of variety and room to put your stamp on things.What you'll be doingPreparing monthly and year-end financial statements and management reportsRunning month-end: journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing BAS, IAS and other compliance lodgementsSupporting budgeting,



forecasting and variance analysisAssisting with audit preparation and ad hoc finance requestsKeeping finance systems and processes accurate and up to dateWhat you'll bringA degree in Accounting, Finance or CommerceCA or CPA qualified, or working towards it3-5 years' accounting experience (commercial or public practice)Good working knowledge of Australian tax and compliance requirementsExperience with Xero, MYOB or similar, plus solid Excel skillsStrong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlinesClear communication and a team-oriented approachWhat's on offer$80K - $100K + superPermanent full-time role with 4 weeks annual leave and paid personal leaveBroad exposure across a joint venture backed by a major Australian media groupA real say in shaping finance systems and processes as the business scalesA business with a clear purpose: helping regional communities prosperBe careful - Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
