Sunshine Coast Radiology (SCR) is looking for enthusiastic and professional Medical Receptionists to join our growing teams across the Sunshine Coast.About Sunshine Coast RadiologySunshine Coast Radiology is the largest medical imaging provider on the Sunshine Coast and part of the Imaging Queensland and Integral Diagnostics (IDX) network.With 13 clinics from Caloundra to Cooroy, we offer opportunities to work in desirable locations and clinical environments, supported by experienced and friendly teams.Our teams are committed to providing an exceptional patient experience, from the moment a patient walks through our doors to the completion of their appointment.About the RoleWe currently are looking for a full time Medical Receptionist to join the team at our clinic at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.
Working a 9-day fortnight Monday to Friday.
Shifts between 5.45am and 9.00pm with the flexibility to work the occasional weekend shift.
Penalty rates apply for weekends for extra earning potential!
As a Medical Receptionist, you'll be an important part of the patient journey and the wider clinical team.Your day will include:Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional serviceManaging appointments, bookings and patient enquiriesAnswering phones and responding to patient queriesProcessing accounts, Medicare and private health claimsSupporting Radiologists,



Sonographers and RadiographersMaintaining accurate and confidential patient informationLiaising with patients, referrers and medical practicesAssisting with the smooth day-to-day operation of the practiceParticipating in team meetings, training and ongoing developmentAbout YouWe're looking for people who are:Friendly, approachable and genuinely enjoy helping othersConfident communicating with patients and healthcare professionalsOrganised, reliable and able to multitaskComfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environmentProfessional and respectful when handling confidential informationA team player who is willing to learn and support othersPrevious medical reception or healthcare experience is highly regarded, but we're also open to candidates with strong customer service and administration experience.Why Join Us?
