About the role
Reporting to the General Manager, the Finance Manager is a senior leadership role and the key financial advisor to the General Manager and Management Committee.
You will:
lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning
manage cash flow and working capital to support organisational sustainability
develop financial modelling, analysis and reporting for the General Manager and Management Committee
manage external audits, tax planning and compliance obligations
identify and manage financial risk
be responsible for accounts payable and receivable, including day-to-day processing
drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
CA or CPA qualification
5+ years of experience in a senior finance role
advanced technical accounting skills and strong commercial acumen
proven experience managing audits, tax planning and regulatory compliance
strong financial systems skills, including Xero
the ability to explain financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Experience in the not-for-profit, environmental or horticulture sector will be highly regarded.
