At Nexvia, quality is everyone's job, and we're looking for a QA Engineer to help lead the charge.
You'll join our QA team, working closely with the QA Team Lead, developers and product owners to make sure every release is reliable, usable and ready for our customers.This is a hands-on manual testing role.
You'll be the person who thinks like a user, digs into edge cases and catches issues before they ship.
It's a big plus if you've also dabbled in test automation, and there's plenty of room to grow those skills here.What you'll doPlan and run manual functional, regression, exploratory and user acceptance testing across web applicationsWrite clear, reusable test cases and test plans from user stories and acceptance criteriaLog, track and retest defects, with clear steps to reproduce and evidenceJoin sprint ceremonies and refinement sessions to flag risks and testability issues earlyTest APIs and integrations, and validate data across systemsSupport release readiness and sign-off under the guidance of the QA Team LeadHelp improve QA processes, test coverage and documentationContribute to automated test suites where you have the skills (or want to learn)What you'll bring2–5 years' experience in software quality assurance, with a strong focus on manual testingSolid understanding of testing methodologies,



the software development lifecycle and Agile/ScrumExperience writing test cases and test plans from requirements or user storiesA sharp eye for detail and a curious, "what could break this?" mindsetExperience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g. Jira, TestRail, Xray or Zephyr)Basic API testing experience (e.g. Postman)Clear written and verbal communication — you can explain a bug to a developer and a risk to a product ownerWorking rights in AustraliaNice to haveHands-on experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress or SeleniumBasic SQL for data validationExperience with performance or accessibility testingISTQB Foundation or similar certificationWhy Nexvia?
