You will provide governance and corporate administration support across meeting management, delegations, policy administration, insurance claims management, corporate reporting, caravan park contract oversight and compliance functions.What your day will look like:Coordinate Council and statutory meeting processes, including agendas, minutes and action trackingMaintain governance registers, delegations and compliance recordsAdminister insurance claims and asset insurance programsSupport corporate planning, reporting and organisational performance requirementsAssist with policy administration, risk management activities and governance projectsProvide professional governance advice and build solid stakeholder relationshipsWhat you'll need for success:Valid Queensland Class C or CA Driver LicenceExtensive experience in governance functions, including meeting administration, corporate reporting, delegations, compliance management and governance support servicesDemonstrated experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies and proceduresProven ability to research, analyse and provide recommendations on governance, policy and organisational mattersStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities,



maintain accuracy and meet deadlinesDemonstrated experience building effective stakeholder relationships while exercising discretion, confidentiality and sound judgementWhat's nice to have:Diploma (AQF Level 5 or above) in Business, Administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experienceExperience coordinating insurance claims, asset insurance programs or related governance functionsPrevious experience working within a local government environmentWe understand that not all candidates will meet every selection criterion.
