We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista/Front of House (FOH) professional to join the team at Sanctum Cafe.
This is a part-time position based in Cooks Hill, NSW ****, offering flexibility to suit your lifestyle whilst being part of a vibrant hospitality environment.
As a Barista/FOH, you will be the face of our cafe, delivering exceptional customer service whilst crafting quality beverages and managing the front-of-house operations.
This role is pivotal in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.What you'll be doingPreparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages to our guestsTaking customer orders accurately and efficiently, both in-house and for takeawayMaintaining a clean, hygienic, and organised work station, including espresso machines and equipmentProcessing payments and managing the point-of-sale system with accuracyProviding friendly, attentive customer service and responding to customer inquiries and requestsWorking collaboratively with kitchen and other FOH staff to ensure smooth service operationsRestocking suppliesContributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues during busy service periodsWhat we're looking forBarista certification or proven experience as a barista in a qualified cafe environmentStrong customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitalityAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyKnowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso extraction, and milk frothingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentationReliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varied shifts including mornings, weekends, and public holidaysKitchen and cooking experience not essential but it woukd be a bonus.What we offerPart-time flexibility to balance work with other commitmentsA welcoming and inclusive team environment where your contributions are valuedOpportunities to develop your barista skills and hospitality expertise.Opportunity to become mulit skilled and learn kitchen/ cooking operations aswell.Supportive management committed to employee development and satisfactionA vibrant location in Cooks Hill with a loyal customer baseAbout usSanctum Cafe is a beloved local cafe in Cooks Hill, NSW, dedicated to serving exceptional coffee and creating a warm, welcoming space for our community.
