Join the HIPPY (Home Interaction Program for Parents and Youngsters) team and help empower families to connect through learning.About the RoleAs aHIPPY Tutor, you will be employed to deliver the HIPPY program in the Rockhampton and Mount Morgan communities.
You'll receive training, coaching, and ongoing support from the HIPPY Coordinator to build your skills and confidence in supporting other parents and carers.This is adevelopmental role– no formal qualifications are required.You will work amaximum of 15 hours per week across 3 days, andno school holiday work is required, making it a flexible and family friendly role.What You'll DoDeliver the HIPPY program to families through weekly or fortnightly home visitsSupport parents to engage in their child's learning using fun and simple activities (just 15 minutes a day!)Encourage participation in reading, play, and educational activitiesAssist with planning and running HIPPY gatheringsAttend all training sessions, workshops,
