NEW CARE SERVICES LTD is seeking a Junior Accountant/Accounts Payable to join our growing finance team.
This is a part-time position based in our new offices in Brunswick, VIC ****.
In this role, you will provide essential support to our accounts payable function, processing invoices, managing supplier payments, and assisting with general accounting duties.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting skills in a supportive environment whilst maintaining a flexible work schedule.What you'll be doingVerifying invoice accuracy and supporting documentation before payment authorisationPreparing payment runs and managing supplier payment schedulesReconciling supplier statements and investigating discrepanciesMaintaining accurate accounts payable records and filingAssisting with month-end close procedures, including accruals and prepaymentsSupporting the preparation of accounts payable reports and aged creditor listingsLiaising with suppliers regarding payment queries and invoice issuesAssisting with general accounting duties as requiredWhat we're looking forCompleted or current studies in accounting, finance,



or a related discipline (tertiary qualification or equivalent)Entry-level to junior experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting functionProficiency in accounting software and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and accuracy with numerical dataExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasksProfessional communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team membersReliable and trustworthy approach to financial record-keeping and confidential informationWillingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skillsAbout usNEW CARE SERVICES LTD is committed to providing quality care and support services within our community.
