Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for laser cutter operation, running the laser cutter day to day and cutting stainless and mild steel for our tradespeople and customers.Key responsibilitiesRunning the laser cutter day to day, cutting stainless and mild steel for our tradespeople and managementReading drawings and job sheets to make sure parts are cut to specCarrying out routine and preventative maintenance on the laser cutter and keeping its maintenance records up to dateKeeping the machine and surrounding area clean, safe and tidyAssisting welders, fabricators and sheet metal workers with fabrication and installation, both in the workshop and on siteUsing hand and power tools, forklifts and scissor liftsDeburring, finishing and preparing parts for fabrication or dispatchUnloading deliveries and handling stockKeeping the workshop and yard clean and clear of obstructionsCompleting daily job, material and timesheet reportingAbout youPrevious experience in a workshop, manufacturing or trade assistant roleA proactive,
