Due to our continued growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Billings & Collections Officer to be a full-time member of our team based in our Brisbane Head Office in Spring Hill.
We are wanting an experienced candidate who is honest, reliable and has a reputation for demonstrating initiative.
You will be great at time management and importantly, be proficient in all aspects of billing & collection processes.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1-2 years health services experience
Experience in hospital systems
Knowledge of Health fund contracts and billing processes
Knowledge of health fund contracts including levels of cover and patient eligibility
Accounts Receivable knowledge
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Knowledge of medical terminology
Able to work flexible hours as required
Demonstrate solid attention to detail and accurate data entry
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail




Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Sound Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with all other standard Microsoft Office products
