Description
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Support the design and delivery of HV substations, transmission and renewable energy projectsAssist with engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications and design documentationContribute to primary design including layouts, SLDs, earthing, cable routing and equipment selectionSupport secondary systems including protection, control, SCADA, communications and meteringAssist with power system studies including load flow,



fault level and network performance analysisSupport grid connection applications and compliance documentationParticipate in engineering reviews, HAZIDs, risk assessments and safety-in-design activitiesAttend site inspections, FAT, SAT, commissioning and energisation activities
Profile
A successful Graduate Engineer should have:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, completed or nearing completionStrong understanding of electrical engineering and power systems fundamentalsGenuine interest in transmission, substations, renewable energy or BESS projectsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement skillsExposure to PowerFactory, PSCAD, ETAP, PSS®E, MATLAB, AutoCAD or similar is advantageousCollaborative, detail-oriented and eager to develop a long-term career in the energy sector
