Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology – Caboolture QLDAbbey Museum of Art and Archeology are seeking a new team member for the Events and Public Programs Team.
Home of the award winning and world famous Abbey Medieval Festival, the team also delivers dozens of other events and programs throughout the year.
Reporting to the Manager - Events and Public programs you will take the reins on smaller events building up your expertise.
You will spend plenty of time in the excellent outdoors working on the ground to help ensure the smooth execution of activities and managing event logistics and set up/pull down.Key responsibilitiesContribute from conception to completion on events and programsManage event logistics and set up/pull downWork on the ground to help ensure the smooth execution of activitiesWork events that fall during weekends and school holiday periodsWork evenings, weekends and holidays as required by event schedulesAbout youA degree in Events Management, or equivalent experience and knowledgeExceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English languageMeticulous attention to detail, demonstrated through observation,
