What we are looking forWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Leader to lead a field-based Parks Maintenance team delivering scheduled and reactive horticultural maintenance across parks, reserves, gardens and open spaces throughout the Fraser Coast region.This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating daily operations, maintaining service standards, supporting a positive team culture and ensuring safe, efficient and customer-focused delivery of works.What your day will look likeLead and coordinate scheduled and reactive parks maintenance activitiesAllocate work, coach staff and support team performance and developmentEnsure compliance with WHS requirements, risk controls and safe work practicesProvide technical guidance on horticultural maintenance, machinery and site issuesCoordinate plant, equipment, materials and contractors to maximise efficiencyManage customer requests and maintain accurate records through Council systemsWhat you'll need for successCurrent Queensland MR Driver LicenceCurrent AC/DC Chemical Distribution LicenceCurrent General Construction Induction (White Card)Demonstrated experience leading a field-based operational teamProven experience delivering horticultural maintenance programs to required standards and timeframesStrong knowledge of WHS requirements,
