establishing a profitable, well-underwritten portfolio of ISR and related commercial lines while developing the team, broker relationships, and market credibility that will underpin long-term growth.
The Head of Property sets the underwriting strategy, owns portfolio performance, and shapes what Mitti Insurance stands for in the Australian general insurance market.Key Responsibilities:Own end-to-end portfolio performance across all general property lines in Australia —Lead and develop the ISR underwriting team, building a high-performing culture ofDrive broker engagement and new business development, establishing Mitti InsuranceSet and maintain underwriting guidelines, authority frameworks, and risk appetite forCollaborate with actuarial, claims, and product teams to ensure pricing adequacy,Ensure all underwriting activity complies with Australian Securities and InvestmentsRepresent Mitti Insurance in broker and industry forums,
