Finance Manager | Global Listed BusinessPerth | B2B Distribution Group | Commercial Finance & Business PartneringWe are partnering with a global, UK-listed industrial and engineering distribution business looking to appoint a commercially minded Finance Manager to support its operations in Perth.Following the acquisition of a specialist industrial business in Perth, the group is continuing to strengthen its financial reporting, governance and operational processes.The opportunityThis is a broad Finance Manager role combining financial control, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial business partnering, alongside supporting the continued integration of the Perth operation into the wider group.The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong financial governance and reporting standards while providing meaningful commercial insights to support business performance.This is a role for someone who enjoys being hands-on, technically strong and commercially involved, with the ability to operate within a smaller business environment while meeting the reporting and compliance expectations of a global listed organisation.Key responsibilities will include:Taking ownership of financial reporting, including P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow statementsManaging statutory reporting, taxation, audit and regulatory compliance requirementsEnsuring strong financial controls, accounting processes and governance frameworksPreparing monthly management reporting packs, including variance analysis, KPIs and financial commentaryDelivering project accounting and financial performance reporting, including project profitability, costs, revenue and forecast analysisLeading the annual budgeting process alongside monthly and quarterly forecastingMonitoring cash flow, working capital and financial risks,



identifying opportunities to improve business performancePartnering with operational and business leaders to understand commercial drivers and provide financial insightSupporting investment proposals, business cases and performance trackingWorking closely with regional and Group Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reportingSupporting the continued integration and standardisation of finance processes into regional and global reporting frameworksIdentifying opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting efficiency and data qualitySupporting broader business transformation, operational improvement and strategic projectsDriving continuous improvement across financial controls, processes and reportingAbout youWe are looking for a well-rounded Finance Manager who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with commercial acumen and the ability to build relationships across the business.Ideally, you will have:CA/CPA qualification or equivalent accounting/finance backgroundExperience operating in a Finance Manager, Financial Controller or senior financial accounting positionStrong financial reporting experience, including statutory accounts, taxation and complianceProven experience across budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial planningStrong management reporting, variance analysis and financial modelling capabilityExperience with project accounting, project profitability and cost analysisWhat's on offer?
