An exciting chance exists for a highly motivated and enthusiastic classroom teacher to join the strong teaching team and culturally diverse community of Holy Family, Doveton. The role is a part-time, ongoing 0.4 classroom position, with a focus on Physical Education. We have the capacity to be flexible with the days.

understand best practice in physical education and the role explicit teaching plays
have a strong curriculum knowledge to support students from foundation to Year 6

value confidentiality and understand the different needs of students
demonstrated an ability to form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
have an understanding of evidence based teaching and how to cater to diverse needs




an outlook that sees the possibilities for every child and brings joy to the classroom
an understanding of trauma informed practice

The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic Education, be familiar and comply with the school's Child-Safe Policy and Code of Conduct.
Special Requirements
• Full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching and up to date Criminal Record check
• Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain accreditation
