Located in Penola, South Australia – the purpose-built plant provides a state-of-the-art factory and is the newest of its kind in the southern hemisphere.We are currently seeking multiple suitably experienced applicants for the roles of Production Operator located in Penola, SA.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment across milk powder packing, palletising, evaporator, spray dryer, wet processing and AMF operations, as trained and requiredEnsure products meet food safety, quality and packaging standards by completing routine quality checks, sampling, monitoring and production recordsOperate forklifts and warehouse systems to move raw materials, packaging and finished products, where licensed and authorisedFollow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs),



safety requirements and hygiene standards at all timesMonitor equipment and production processes, identify issues or defects, and report problems to the Production SupervisorMaintain a clean, secure and hygienic work environment and complete cleaning and changeover activitiesWork collaboratively with the production team, communicate effectively during shift handovers, and participate in training and continuous improvement activitiesSkills & ExperiencesCurrent forklift licence and Australian driver's licencePrevious experience in dairy or food manufacturing is desirableBasic computer skills and the ability to complete production and quality records accuratelyGood mechanical aptitude, with the ability to follow instructions and troubleshoot basic production issuesPhysically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg, perform manual handling tasks and stand for extended periods during 12-hour shiftsAbove award wages are paid and will be discussed at the time of interview.
