We add value with our people, client service ethos, global delivery strategy, technical ability, and attitude.We are seeking a Telecommunications Engineer to be based as a full time employment in our Sydney office.Salary will be AUD $190,****** per annumRole ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the production of ICT infrastructure design specifications, in particular, written report documents, drawings, technical specifications, procurement packs, including technical leadership management skillsGravitas to question, challenge and innovate design.
Confidence to manage client and stakeholder expectationsDevelopment of 2D CAD design drawings and the interpretation and coordination of 3D Revit modelsRepresents company at technical meetings with customers, skilled teams and contractor teamsEnsures specifications, drawings and calculations meet industry, legal and quality standardsTakes holistic view in the selection and application of ICT infrastructure design concepts and solutionsManagement of ICT design co-ordination with related engineering disciplines, e.g.



electrical and mechanicalReviews, innovates and challenges industry best practices and normsManage and support technical team output and productionPlan, host and conduct meetings with the client and relevant project stakeholdersDevelop a clear understanding of client requirements from both a technical and operational standpointDocument client requirements and engage with the client and all relevant stakeholders to confirm expectations have been accurately captured.Undertake peer and QA review of CAD drawings (typically cabling systems, containment, cabinet elevation, comms room layout)Produce written documents including the following:Technical specificationsPerformance specificationSchematic diagrams (typically data network)Role RequirementsEngineering degree in appropriate ICT infrastructure design engineering discipline or have sufficient equivalent experience.A-Level secondary education, HNC/HND, plus appropriate experience or equivalent.Significant experience of ICT infrastructure design for different building types.Previous project experience in ICT infrastructure for data centre construction; commercial building construction ICT infrastructureTechnical qualifications and design experience in the following technologies is essential:LAN Ethernet SwitchingStructured Cabling SystemsFibre Optic NetworksWi-Fi Network CommunicationsTelecommunication Network Infrastructure and ServicesSignificant experience in the following service provision:Data cabling manufacture/contractingIT /IP network systems integrationNetwork technology vendor/manufacturerIT/Multi-disciplinary consulting firmConstruction project management.
