Applicants must be located within reasonable travelling distance of Bendigo.You'll work in a clean, comfortable, heated and cooled workshop alongside a supportive team that values safety, precision, and continuous improvement.The RoleAs an Electrical Trade Assistant, you will support electricians and technicians in the assembly and wiring of low voltage switchboards.
This is a hands‐on role within a structured production environment,



offering strong opportunities to build practical skills and develop your career in the electrical industry.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with the assembly and wiring of electrical switchboards and control panelsSupport cable preparation, routing, and terminations under supervisionUnder direct supervision, install and fit components including circuit breakers, busbars, and other electrical equipmentUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyPrepare materials, components, and tools for daily production tasksMaintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environmentSupport workshop, warehouse, and dispatch activities as requiredFollow all company procedures and WHS requirementsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in an electrical, manufacturing, or trade assistant role (preferred)Minimum completion of Year 10 (or equivalent)Exposure to switchboard or panel assembly (highly regarded but not essential)Basic reading and writing skillsCompetent using hand and power toolsStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to follow instructions accurately and work to directionGood communication skills and ability to work effectively within a teamPhysically capable of manual handling tasksReliable, punctual, and a solid team playerPositive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop skillsUnderstanding of workplace health and safety practicesBentrol is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
