You'll work on a rotating shift schedule, including some weekends.
Your rota will confirm your hours and delivery routes, which may vary based on demand.
You'll be required to work Sundays at Ramsgate Delivery Office.

Deliver post by van and on foot in your local area

This role is physically demanding and fast-paced:
Walking long distances (up to 12 miles / 20,000+ steps)
Driving a Royal Mail van daily
Working in all weather conditions
Delivering letters and high volumes of parcels
Busy, time-pressured days, especially during peak periods
About you
We'll provide full training, a uniform,



and an iconic red van.
You'll need:
Afull manual UK driving licence(maximum 6 penalty points, registered to your current name and address)
Willingness to drive aRoyal Mail vandaily and able to pass adriving assessment
Physically fit and comfortable walkinglong distances, climbing stairs / hills, and lifting / carrying 10kg+ mailbags
Reliableandself-motivated
