Senior Business Analyst Your new company Urgent opportunity | Contract to June **** | Remote / HybridAn exciting prospect is available for an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a major cybersecurity maturity and compliance uplift within a large, complex organisation.Working across an Essential Eight Maturity Level 2 (ML2) programme, you'll build on an existing assessment to confirm the current-state baseline, identify control gaps and translate these into a clear, prioritised uplift backlog.
The programme is targeting delivery by June ****, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and quickly turn the current state into actionable next steps.Your new role Confirm the current-state Essential Eight maturity baseline and identify gaps to ML2Translate control gaps into prioritised requirements and uplift activitiesDevelop business, functional and non-functional requirementsProduce user stories, acceptance criteria and process mapsFacilitate workshops with business, security and technology stakeholdersWork alongside architects, engineers and external partners to support solution designMaintain traceability from identified gaps through delivery and reassessment evidenceSupport business case development,



planning and prioritisationProduce clear reporting for senior leadership and steering committeesWork within a delivery environment incorporating both Agile and Waterfall approachesWhat you'll need to succeed Strong Technical Business Analysis experience within a large enterprise environmentEssential Eight / ML2 experience or strong practical exposure is essentialExperience establishing current-state baselines and conducting gap analysisStrong requirements gathering, stakeholder workshop and documentation skillsUnderstanding of the technologies and controls underpinning Essential EightExperience working across both technical and business stakeholder groupsExposure to SOCI, ISM or comparable security/compliance frameworks highly regardedTelecommunications, critical infrastructure or similarly regulated industry experience advantageousAbility to work independently, quickly understand an existing programme and drive outcomesWhat you'll get in return Contract through to June ****, with potential extensionRemote/hybrid flexibility with access to a local officeOpportunity to contribute to a significant enterprise security maturity upliftHighly visible programme with engagement across technical teams and senior stakeholdersThis is an urgent requirement with an ASAP start.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
