Looking for a hands‐on role with a bit of variety?
IM Partners is recruiting a reliable and practical Yard & Delivery Operator for a well‐established commercial construction business based in Beverley.
We're looking for someone who enjoys getting stuck in, knows their way around a yard or warehouse, and is comfortable working with materials, equipment and machinery.
You don't need to be an experienced truck driver.
If you've worked in a yard, warehouse, construction or logistics environment and have forklift experience, we'd like to hear from you.
Already have an MR licence?
Great.
Don't have one but willing to get it?
We're interested in you too.
The Role
This is a varied, hands‐on position combining yard operations, forklift work and deliveries to construction sites across Adelaide.
Loading and unloading trucks using forklifts and other equipment
Preparing, organising and securing construction materials for delivery
Delivering and collecting materials, tools and equipment from construction sites
Receiving deliveries and assisting with stock movements
Keeping the yard organised, tidy and operating efficiently
Assisting with general yard duties and material handling
Checking vehicles, equipment and loads to ensure safe operations
Working closely with the workshop,



yard and site teams to keep things moving
You'll be an important part of the operations team, helping ensure the right materials get to the right places when they're needed.
About You
We're not looking for someone who just wants to sit behind the wheel all day.
We need someone who is happy to jump on a forklift, organise materials, help in the yard and head out on deliveries when required.
Ideally, you'll have:
Previous experience in yard operations, warehousing, construction, forklift operations or logistics
Forklift operating experience, with a current LF licence highly regarded
An MR driver's licence, or the willingness and eligibility to obtain one
Good practical skills and the ability to safely handle construction materials
A reliable, organised and versatile approach to work
The ability to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities
A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed
Experience working with construction materials or delivering to building sites would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

$32–$35 per hour plus superannuation, depending on experience and licences
