The Role
Our growing Emergency & Critical Care team is looking for experienced ECC veterinarians to join us on a full-time or part-time basis, across day, night and weekend shifts.
You'll triage, stabilise and manage critically ill and injured patients, supported by an experienced nursing team and access to specialist advice.
Overnight shifts include on-call specialist support.
This is an opportunity to build your ECC skills, manage challenging cases and work within a collaborative, well-equipped referral hospital.

NSVSC is a leading 24/7 multidisciplinary referral hospital on Sydney's Lower North Shore.
Our specialists in surgery, internal medicine, anaesthesia, exotics, cardiology and oncology work alongside experienced emergency clinicians and highly skilled nurses in a genuinely collaborative environment.
Our facilities include:
VECCS Level II Accreditation
Dedicated ICU with cot beds and oxygen cages, and Mindray ventilators for mechanical ventilation
In-house blood bank with blood product preparation




Full in-house laboratory (biochemistry, haematology, blood gas)
Two ultrasound rooms, digital X-ray, 128-slice GE CT and Siemens 1.5T MRI
Fluoroscopy and endoscopy
Three fully equipped operating theatres
About You
BVSc, DVM or equivalent, with eligibility for veterinary registration in NSW
At least two years of ECC or emergency experience, with confidence managing a broad range of emergency presentations
Motivated GP vets with a strong interest in ECC are also encouraged to apply
A desire to continue developing your emergency medicine skills in a specialist-supported workplace
