About the role
We have an exciting prospect for a Lawyer (1-2 year PQE) tojoin our well-regarded Dispute Resolution & Litigation team andbuild their career in a busy and high performing practice.
You willbe involved in a diverse range of litigation matters, includingcommissions and inquiries, historic abuse claims, contractdisputes, defamation matters and various regulatory matters,providing sound and practical advice for public sector clients.
The work is complex and challenging which will see you workingalongside Partner Rosalie Bryne and other exceptional litigatorsand like-minded professionals in a collaborative team environment.You will be recognised for personal achievements and receivementoring from senior team members to ensure your professionalskills continue to grow and develop.
Day to day you will have the following responsibilities:
Conducting legal research and preparing advice
Drafting court documents, submissions andcorrespondence
Preparing briefs and evidence
Assisting with hearings, conferences and mediations
Assisting with discovery and document review processes
Working directly with clients and counsel
About you
Ideally you will have:
1-2 years' post admission experience, ideally inlitigation, disputes or government law
Strong technical, drafting and research skills includingexcellent attention to detail
Impressive academic qualifications
An engaging manner with excellent communication skills atall levels
A proactive approach and a desire to learn
