Sydney Local Health District (SLHD) is seeking an experienced Visiting Medical Officer in Cardiology to join our team atConcord Repatriation General Hospital.
The primary purpose of the role of Visiting Medical Officer in Cardiology (Cardio-oncology) is to provide high quality diagnostic and consultative specialty services in Cardiology and to participate in teaching, research, quality improvement and administrative activities within the Cardiology Department and Hospital as required.
The Visiting Medical Officer will provide expertise in cardiac non-invasive imaging and management of patients with cardio-oncology focus.
The Visiting Medical Officer will ensure a high standard of professional performance and encouragement of an academic environment which supports education, research and professional development.
The successful applicant will be a current registered Medical practitioner, registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP)



with recognised qualifications in Cardiology Medicine and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
The position is currently available.
In addition, applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within two months from date of application, may be considered.
Salaryand conditions are in accordance withthe NSW Public Hospitals Visiting Medical Officer Determination.
