About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Criminal Law, Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer to join our team. This role offers a long-term career pathway within a reputable firm and the opportunity to work close to home. Ideally, we are looking for a motivated and hardworking Lawyer with a minimum of 3 years' post-admission experience.
This full time position is based in our Emerald office (approx. 3 days per week) and our Pakenham office (approx. 2 days per week). Candidates seeking part-time employment are also encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
Manage a diverse range of client files autonomously
Provide legal advice and representation in matters including:
Criminal Law and Intervention Order matters




Debt recovery
Building and construction disputes
Commercial, business, and partnership disputes
Property and retail tenancy disputes
Breach of agreements
Mentor and support junior lawyers
Receive guidance and mentorship from senior practitioners
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years' post-admission experience in criminal law, litigation and dispute resolution
Comprehensive knowledge of court and tribunal processes, procedures, and rules
Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to delivering high-quality client service and working to negotiate best outcome settlements for all our clients
