Completing daily pre‐starts, inspections and preventative maintenance.
Carrying out screen changes, fixing grease lines and completing basic mechanical tasks within your competency.
Identifying faults, troubleshooting issues and minimising avoidable downtime.
Maintaining machinery and equipment to a high standard.
Working towards production targets, deadlines and KPIs.
Liaising with the Operations Leader regarding production requirements and equipment issues.
Maintaining a clean, organised work area and complying with mine site safety requirements.
This is a hands‐on role. You must be prepared to assist with general plant duties, housekeeping and other operational tasks when required. We need someone who is willing to get involved, lend a hand and grab a shovel when needed.

Proven, hands‐on experience operating, maintaining and managing a mobile crushing plant.
Experience in quarrying, mining or a similar production setting.
The practical knowledge to manage the day‐to‐day operation of a crushing plant independently.

The Type of Person We're Looking For
You take pride in your work, look after your equipment and understand that production targets, deadlines and KPIs matter.
You are reliable, punctual, safety-focused and comfortable working with a range of personalities. You know how to work independently, identify what needs to be done and communicate early when something is not right.
Most importantly, you understand that
we need to get crushing
. You take ownership of the operation, maintain equipment properly and do not wait for someone else to tell you what needs doing.
We need an experienced operator who can hit the ground running, work safely and deliver results without constant direction.
