Your role
The Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) is seeking a Project Officer to support projects that improve business operations, strengthen collaboration and contribute to better housing outcomes for Aboriginal people, families and communities across NSW.
In this role, you will lead the building, administration and ongoing development of Monday.com across AHO directorates, creating workspaces, boards and dashboards that improve project tracking, reporting and information management. You will support staff to use the system effectively, coordinate project activities and build strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaborative project delivery.
What you'll do
Build, administer and maintain Monday.com workspaces, boards and dashboards to support consistent project management practices across AHO directorates.
Support the design, development and implementation of Monday.com, identifying opportunities to improve workflows, reporting and information management.
Develop and maintain dashboards that provide clear, timely insights into project progress, performance and key business information.
Support and train staff in the effective use of Monday.com, including accurate data entry, reporting and information management.
Coordinate the Monday.com Super User Working Group, providing ongoing guidance, resources and training to build capability across directorates.
Contribute to project planning, coordination and delivery, including monitoring project plans, milestones, resources, risks and deadlines.
Undertake research and analysis to identify opportunities to improve business processes, project management practices and service delivery.
Prepare project documentation, reports, status updates and other materials to support decision making and keep stakeholders informed.
Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams, other departmental divisions and external stakeholders to support collaborative project delivery and positive outcomes.
What we're looking for
Experience in building and administering Monday.com, or similar project management and workflow platforms.
Experience coordinating projects, including monitoring progress, managing competing priorities and delivering outcomes within agreed timeframes.
Robust communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain systems and processes clearly and support staff with different levels of experience.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders in a respectful and culturally responsive manner.
The ability to analyse information, identify opportunities for improvement and develop practical solutions.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, particularly in maintaining accurate data, preparing reports and coordinating activities.
We focus on hiring people who share our commitment and goals of inclusion, collaboration, adaptability, courage and integrity. If you meet the essential requirements and the role resonates with you, please apply – you do not need to meet every desired requirement for us to want to talk to you.
