What's the role?
As a
Customer Sales and Retention Specialist - Outbound
, you'll proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, resolve member enquiries and underlying issues, and help them make informed decisions about their health cover.
No two conversations are the same. You'll build rapport quickly, navigate objections with confidence and help customers get the most value from their health insurance.
This role combines exceptional customer experience with achieving positive business outcomes, making it perfect for someone who enjoys both helping people and delivering results.
What you'll be doing




Proactively engaging customers through outbound conversations to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities to retain members and grow ahm's member base
Building rapport and trust with a diverse range of customers.
Understanding member needs through effective questioning and uncovering opportunities to provide tailored solutions.
Confidently handling objections and concerns.
Delivering exceptional member experiences while achieving retention and sales objectives.
Uncovering opportunities to strengthen member value, resolve concerns and recommend the right solutions.
Working collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Adapting to new processes, products and ways of working as our outbound model continues to evolve.

Experience in customer service,, fundraising, hospitality, retail or contact centres is highly regarded, but not essential.
Experience in Sales or Retention is essential.
