Job Location: Shop 11, Haynes Shopping Centre, **** Armadale Road, Haynes, WA, ****, AUSTRALIA Advertising Period: 28 days - 16 Oct ******* Nov **** Summary Our client Pizza Hut Armadale is seeking to add an experienced Shop Manager to oversee its daily store operations at Haynes Shopping Centre in Western Australia.
Operating under the established Pizza Hut brand, the store provides takeaway, collection and delivery services to the local community.
The successful applicant will manage staff, sales performance, stock, operating costs and customer service while maintaining franchise standards.
The typical job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following: • Organise and control daily store operations, including takeaway, customer collection and delivery services.
• Manage product availability, stock levels and service standards in accordance with Pizza Hut franchise requirements.
• Develop and implement store purchasing procedures, approved menu pricing and promotional offers within franchise guidelines.
• Plan and coordinate local advertising campaigns and promotional activities to increase sales and customer engagement.
• Oversee customer sales, provide menu advice and respond to enquiries regarding products, dietary requirements and allergens.
• Manage supplier orders, deliveries, inventory storage, stock rotation and regular stocktake procedures.
• Maintain financial records, oversee cash handling, reconcile point-of-sale transactions and manage daily takings and banking.
• Prepare store operating budgets for owner approval and monitor sales, labour costs and purchasing expenditure.
• Implement cost control measures to minimise operational expenses, stock losses and food wastage.
• Manage staff recruitment, selection, training, rostering,



supervision and ongoing performance development.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety regulations and established company procedures.
• Monitor food quality, order accuracy and service times while resolving customer complaints and operational issues.
• Evaluate store performance, prepare operational reports and recommend improvements to the business owner.
• Maintain store cleanliness, presentation, equipment functionality and security in accordance with Pizza Hut brand standards.
• Lead daily store activities and coordinate employees to maintain efficient operations during peak trading periods.
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements to be considered for the role: • A relevant Diploma or higher qualification in retail management, business or hospitality management, or equivalent relevant industry experience.
• A minimum of 12 months' recent, directly relevant management experience in fast food, takeaway or comparable retail food operations.
• Demonstrated ability to organise daily store operations, supervise employees and maintain consistent customer service and product standards.
• Proven experience managing staff recruitment, training, rostering, performance monitoring and workplace coordination within a busy retail setting.
• Practical experience managing inventory, supplier orders, stock rotation, purchasing procedures and wastage reduction within food service operations.
• Sound financial management skills, including preparing budgets, monitoring operating expenses, reconciling transactions and evaluating sales performance.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, workplace health and safety obligations and relevant regulatory compliance requirements.
• Effective leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with availability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
