The Role

This role has come about due to growth, with a strong forward workbook of secured projects well into next year.

This business needs an experienced Senior Civil Engineer capable of taking full ownership of projects and client relationships.

The role is hands-on across the whole project lifecycle: liaising directly with clients, builders, developers and architects, reviewing and guiding the technical work of project engineers and junior staff, and managing invoicing on your own projects.

You won't be sitting hands-on in 12D or Civil 3D modelling, but genuine technical review and direction is central to the role.

Flooding experience would be well regarded, though it's not essential.

The Responsibilities

- Take full ownership of projects and client relationships from start to finish




- Review and guide the technical work of project engineers and junior staff
- Represent the business directly with clients, builders, developers and architects
- Manage invoicing and reporting on your own projects

The Requirements

This role suits an experienced civil engineer who's genuinely ready for a senior level of responsibility. In return, you'll be able to demonstrate:

- Experience within an Australian engineering design consultancy
- Experience seeing civil projects through from concept to completion
- Confidence presenting design options, defending designs and providing solutions directly in client meetings
- Strong working knowledge of 12D or Civil 3D, for review and direction rather than hands-on modelling
- Flooding experience highly regarded but not essential
- Full working rights in Australia
