Role and Responsibilities:

- Lead a team of 20+ staff delivering high-quality open space and grounds maintenance.
- Oversee a $3M+ contract, driving performance, profitability and service excellence.
- Manage turf maintenance programs, including the preparation and upkeep of sporting wickets.
- Build strong client relationships and act as the key point of contact for contract delivery.
- Oversee playground maintenance, inspections and ongoing service requirements.
- Coordinate minor infrastructure maintenance and improvement works across multiple sites.
- Support ecological management and environmental maintenance initiatives.
- Lead workforce planning, scheduling,



resource allocation and team development.
- Monitor budgets, labour costs, equipment and materials to achieve financial targets.
- Maintain exceptional safety, quality and compliance standards across all operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, service delivery and contract performance

What will you need?

- Experience in contract management, open space maintenance, horticulture, turf management or a related industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, develop and motivate a team across multiple sites.
- A current driver’s licence, manual or automatic.
- Strong communication and client relationship skills, with a focus on delivering outstanding service.
- The ability to manage budgets, resources and operational priorities effectively.
- A commitment to workplace health and safety, quality and environmental standards.
- A current National Police Check, or the ability to obtain one.
- A current Working With Children Check, or the ability to obtain one.
