Q&O; Plumbing is seeking an experienced Qualified Plumber to join our growing team, with a strong focus on interstate projects and working away.

Based in Geelong, we are expanding into Queensland, with potential opportunities in South Australia and other parts of Australia. We’re looking for someone who enjoys travelling for work and has the flexibility to spend extended periods away as project locations and requirements change.

This role suits someone who actively wants travel to be part of their job. Regular interstate travel and working away are key requirements of the position.

What you’ll be doing

• Working across a range of commercial plumbing projects in Victoria and interstate.

• Completing all aspects of general plumbing to a high standard.

• Reading plans and coordinating with other trades to deliver efficient, compliant installations.

• Using total station equipment for accurate site set-out.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

• Attending and contributing to regular toolbox meetings.

• Supporting and mentoring apprentices and junior team members.

• Complying with relevant industry regulations and company policies.

What we’re looking for

• A qualified and registered plumber with a Certificate III in Plumbing.

• A minimum of three years’ experience as a qualified plumber, ideally in commercial plumbing.





• Willingness and availability to travel anywhere in Australia and stay away for extended periods to suit project needs.

• Flexibility to move between project locations as the business expands.

• Strong practical skills and knowledge of relevant plumbing standards and regulations.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

• A current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.

• A reliable, honest and professional approach.

• Excavator and scissor lift tickets preferred.
