This position is ideal for GPs seeking flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in modern healthcare delivery.Key responsibilitiesConducting remote video and telephone consultations with patients in accordance with best practice guidelines and regulatory requirementsAssessing patient symptoms, providing diagnoses, and recommending appropriate treatment plans through telehealth platformsPrescribing medications and issuing digital referrals to specialists when necessaryMaintaining accurate and timely electronic medical records for all patient consultationsEnsuring compliance with privacy legislation,



including the Privacy Act and Health Records ActCommunicating effectively with patients and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated careManaging time efficiently to provide consultations within scheduled appointment slotsStaying updated with current clinical guidelines and best practices in telehealth deliveryWhat we're looking forCurrent registration with the Australian Medical Practitioner Regulation Authorities (AHPRA) as a General PractitionerA valid Australian Medical Degree or equivalent recognised qualificationProven experience in general practice, with a minimum of 2 years post-graduation clinical experience preferredProficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital medical record systemsStrong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients in a virtual environmentExcellent clinical knowledge and the ability to make sound diagnostic decisions with limited physical examination capabilitiesReliability and skilled conduct consistent with the Medical Board of Australia's Code of ConductA reliable internet connection and a suitable home workspace to deliver consultations professionallyCurrent professional indemnity insurance or the ability to obtain itExperience with bulk billing systems and Medicare processes is advantageous
