Online Assessor/Educator - Fitness and NutritionCustomised Education Group is seeking an experienced Online Assessor/Educator - Fitness and Nutrition to join our dynamic team on a full time basis. We are a National Company and this role allows you to work from home, offering flexibility to work online and engage with learners across Australia who are studying with the National Fitness College, Women's Fitness Education, Fitness Education Online Academy, Group Fitness Academy, Healthy Nation and Young Entrepreneurs Academy.As an Online Assessor/Educator, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality fitness and nutrition education whilst conducting comprehensive assessments of learner competency. This position is integral to our commitment to providing accessible, engaging, and rigorous workplace training and assessment services to the health and fitness industry.Key responsibilitiesSupport engaging online education and training modules in fitness and nutrition to diverse learner cohorts across multiple platformsConduct thorough and fair assessments of learner knowledge, skills, and competency in alignment with industry standards and curriculum requirementsProvide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and progression through the programmeMark and evaluate assessments, maintaining detailed records of learner progress and achievementDesign and develop assessment tools, resources, and learning materials that are clear, accessible,



and aligned with training outcomesMonitor learner engagement and identify opportunities for intervention and support where neededMaintain accurate documentation and reporting of assessment results and learner achievementsCollaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency in assessment practices and continuous improvement of educational deliveryStay current with industry developments, fitness and nutrition best practices, and educational methodologiesRespond to learner queries and provide guidance on assessment requirements and learning pathwaysWhat we're looking forA recognised qualification in fitness, exercise science, nutrition, or a related health disciplineCurrent or recent experience delivering fitness and nutrition education or training in a professional settingDemonstrated experience in conducting assessments and evaluating learner competencyStrong knowledge of fitness and nutrition principles, practices, and industry standardsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearlyProficiency in using online learning management systems and digital platforms for content delivery and assessmentStrong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple learners and assessments simultaneouslyA commitment to providing inclusive, supportive, and engaging online educationReliability, professionalism, and a genuine passion for supporting learner successExperience with workplace training and assessment frameworks such as the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF)



is highly desirableRequired Qualifications & ExperienceTAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or higher-level adult education qualification).SIS30321 Certificate III in Fitness and SIS40221 Certificate IV in Fitness (or verified equivalent competencies).Current professional registration with AUSactive or Physical Activity Australia (Level 2 or 3 preferred).Minimum 2 years of active industry experience working as a Personal Trainer or Gym Instructor within the last 24 months.Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid and HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certifications.Demonstrated experience using an LMS and providing digital marking feedback.Current Working with Children Check (or state equivalent) and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).What we offerAt Customised Education Group, we are committed to supporting the professional development and wellbeing of our team members.
