Mount Alexander Shire Council is seeking an Independent Member to join the Audit and Risk Committee under the Local Government Act .
The role supports oversight of financial reporting, risk management and internal controls, with an initial term of three years and a standing invitation for reappointment.
The Committee comprises four independents plus the Mayor and a Councillor; meetings occur four times yearly at the Civic Centre, Castlemaine.
