Our Support Workers support our participants with social, community & recreational participation, in-home support & daily living activities, specialised transport & domestic support.
This is the role for you if you have:
Certificate III or IV inIndividual Support, Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or a related qualification.
Relevantmental health qualifications and/or experiencesupporting people with psychosocial disabilities.
Previous experience supporting participants withcomplex needs and challenging behaviours.
Experience implementing positive behaviour support strategies and maintaining qualified boundaries.
Ability to remain calm, patient and qualified when supporting participants experiencing behaviours of concern.




Experience working withNDIS participantsis highly desirable.
Solid communication, documentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with families, support coordinators and other members of the care team.
You will be required to:
Perform all duties with professionalism & care.
Work under general guidance from the person seeking support/their family.
Work within clearly defined guidelines
Be responsible for managing your own time.
Be able to work with limited supervision.
Perform activities requiring the exercise of sound judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.
Support our clients with daily personal care.
Support our clients with community access.
What we need from you:
Experience in complex behaviours set-up
A current working with children check
A current First Aid Certificate
A current CPR Certificate
A Driver's License and a Comprehensive Car Insurance
