They maintain a sterile setting in the cleanroom by garbing, cleaning, and practicing according to procedures that align with sterile pharmaceutical compounding standards.Overview of ResponsibilitiesPrepares patient- specific compounded sterile preparations (CSP's) inside cleanroom using proper sterile techniqueUses dispense queue/prep/check technology to safely prepare patient-specificCSP'sBatches CSPs inside cleanroom using proper sterile techniqueUses compounding & repackaging technology to safety prepare batched CSPs.Maintains a sterile, protected,



and orderly work setting at all timesUses Omnicell technologyRestocks inventoryProcesses returnsDocuments tasks in compliance softwareCompletes and passes sterility testing initially and every 6 months thereafter.This list of duties and responsibilities is not intended to be all-inclusive and can be expanded to include other duties or responsibilities that management deems necessary.Education & ExperienceMinimum education required: High school diploma, or equivalent.Minimum experience preferred: Previous pharmacy experience.Licensure & CertificationPharmacy Technician Certification Board license (PTCB) must be obtained within 5 years of accepting position.Ability to obtain Indiana Pharmacy Technician license.
