The successful candidate will plan and coordinate ILS activities, working across engineering, operations and project teams to ensure sustainment and support requirements are effectively integrated across the system lifecycle.The role will contribute to sustainment planning, supportability analysis, governance and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on availability, reliability, maintainability and lifecycle cost outcomes. The successful candidate will bring solid experience in ILS, sustainment management or logistics engineering within complex Defence or mission-critical environments. (LH-08170)##### Role Description**Key duties and responsibilities*** Plan and coordinate ILS activities under general direction to enable the sustainment and operational readiness of ISR mission systems.* Work with engineering, operations and project teams to translate system requirements into effective sustainment and support solutions across the lifecycle.* Analyse and report on sustainment performance; including availability, reliability,



maintainability and lifecycle costs to inform decision making and improve system outcomes.* Support governance processes including sustainment reviews, design gate reviews and approval boards ensuring logistics considerations are appropriately integrated.* Engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, influencing support outcomes and coordinating contributions from service providers.**Technical skills*** 3-5 years' minimum experience in ILS, sustainment management or logistics engineering Experience supporting or contributing to sustainment activities for aviation, ISR or mission critical systems Degree in Engineering, ICT supply chain or related discipline---**Essential criteria**1. Demonstrable experience in developing and applying ILS or sustainment programs for complex systems.2. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, schedules and stakeholder demands.3. Ability to analyse supportability data and identify risks/issues impacting system sustainment.4. Experience creating acquisition and support documentation in accordance with Defence policies and frameworks.**Desirable criteria**1. Experience supporting RAAF or ISR platform projects within Defence environments.2. Familiarity with Defence sustainment frameworks and regulatory requirements.
