You will join an established facilities services provider responsible for maintaining critical building, security and electronic systems within a secure operational environment. About the role:

Reporting to the Facility Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day servicing, maintenance and fault diagnosis of integrated security and building management systems. You will respond to reactive faults, complete scheduled maintenance and provide reliable technical support while helping to minimise operational downtime.

Main responsibilities include:

- Servicing, maintaining and repairing security, BMS and associated electronic equipment
- Diagnosing faults across head-end systems, CCTV, access control, IP intercom and DDC control equipment
- Configuring and troubleshooting electronic security and building management platforms
- Completing small to medium installation and upgrade projects
- Coordinating and overseeing subcontractors where required
- Estimating material requirements, ordering parts and managing critical spare-parts stock
- Developing and maintaining site documentation and quality assurance records
- Completing scheduled maintenance and reactive work within agreed service levels
- Supporting site inspections, compliance activities and internal and external audits
- Liaising directly with client representatives and service recipients
- Identifying opportunities to improve workplace processes and system performance
- Completing hazard and risk assessments and complying with all site safety procedures




- Participating in an agreed after-hours callout roster when required.

What you'll need to succeed:

- A current Security Installer Licence
- ACMA Open Cabler Registration
- Certificate III in Electronics and Communications, or a relevant trade qualification
- Previous experience servicing and repairing electronic equipment
- Experience with building management, security, control or integrated facilities systems
- Solid troubleshooting, fault-finding and problem-diagnosis skills
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills
- The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering high-quality service
- A strong commitment to workplace health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Currently based in Kalgoorlie or willingness to relocate (assistance provided)
