Salary: $78,000 - $88,000 plus Superannuation

Mode: Full Time
Experience: 2 years’ experience minimum

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare soil, potting media, containers, beds and growing areas for nursery production.
- Water plants manually and operate irrigation systems to maintain appropriate moisture levels.
- Select and plant seeds, bulbs and cuttings in beds, containers and trays, and carry out propagation activities.
- Maintain records of plantings, treatments, losses, yields and other nursery production activities.
- Select, prepare and package plants for presentation, sale and delivery.
- Monitor plant growth and health and undertake routine cultivation and maintenance activities.




- Apply fertilisers and approved pesticides to manage plant nutrition, pests, diseases and weeds.

To be successful in this role, it is essential you have:

- Relevant AQF Certificate III or IV in Horticulture, Nursery Production or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in nursery plant propagation, cultivation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of planting, watering, fertilising and pest and disease control practices.
- Ability to operate and maintain basic nursery, irrigation and horticultural equipment.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of plantings, treatments, losses and nursery production activities.
