JBI Tyres is looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Warehouse Storeperson to join our busy wholesale tyre warehouse.
This is a hands-on role involving warehouse operations, order picking, dispatch and customer service. You'll assist with daily warehouse duties while also answering incoming phone calls, assisting customers with enquiries and processing orders.
We're looking for someone who is organised, effective and comfortable balancing physical warehouse work with customer service responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and on time
Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with product enquiries, stock availability and orders
Process customer orders accurately using our computer system
Load and unload delivery vehicles
Assist with unloading shipping containers and putting stock away
Receive incoming stock and check deliveries for accuracy
Maintain accurate stock locations and assist with stock control
Replenish picking areas and organise stock within the warehouse
Prepare orders for dispatch and delivery
Communicate with customers and drivers regarding orders and deliveries
Maintain a clean,
safe and organised warehouse
Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling
Assist with general warehouse duties as required
About you
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
Confident answering phone calls and communicating with customers
Good communication and customer service skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Able to multitask and manage priorities in a busy environment
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Able to follow instructions and work independently
Previous warehouse or customer service experience preferred but not essential
Basic computer skills
Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
