Join Our Team at Earlwood Orthodontics (Dental Assistant - Part-Time)

Are you a friendly, organised, and motivated Dental Assistant looking to join a welcoming orthodontic team? Earlwood Orthodontics is seeking a qualified and experienced Dental Assistant / Receptionist to support our specialist orthodontic practice in a part-time role.

About the Role:

Roster / Hours:

- 4-day week (approx 35 hours)
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday (9-hour clinic day)
- Friday: 8-hour non-clinic day (reception, social media, stock and lab management, other support tasks)

As an integral member of our small, supportive team, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Your daily responsibilities will include:

- Chairside assisting for orthodontic treatments
- Infection control and sterilisation
- Preparing treatment rooms and coordinating lab work
- Taking photos and scans, managing lab work and stock
- Providing patients with oral hygiene instructions and guidance
- Assisting with reception tasks as needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and data entry




- Helping with social media posts and other team support tasks

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

- Has dental assisting experience (Cert III dental assisting highly regarded, but not essential)
- Experienced in orthodontic chairside assisting (preferred, but not essential)
- Knowledgeable in infection control and sterilisation procedures
- Friendly, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a small team
- Well-organised, with excellent multitasking, communication, and presentation skills
