We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Staff to join the team at Banjo's Bakery Cafe in Burpengary, QLD 4505. What you’ll be doing

- Preparing and assembling sandwiches, baked goods and food items according to recipes and cafe standards
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including work surfaces, equipment and food storage areas
- Following food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supporting the preparation of ingredients and components required for daily service
- Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assisting with stock rotation and monitoring ingredient levels
- Working collaboratively with other kitchen and cafe staff to meet service demands
- Responding promptly to customer orders and ensuring timely food preparation

What we’re looking for

- Previous experience working in a kitchen, cafe or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential
- A strong commitment to food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment whilst maintaining quality




- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks
- Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- A positive attitude and genuine interest in delivering excellent customer service
- Current or willingness to obtain a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate or equivalent qualification is preferred
